A listener account is for hearing and owning music — it is one of the platform's two account types, and registration creates one. There is one free tier, one paid tier, and one price for owning a track. Every figure on this page is the live, published number, and most of what a listener spends accrues to the people who made the record.

Free Tier — $0

Streaming with a registered account. No time limit, no feature ransom: free listeners get the same player, playlists, a private play history, and the live EMISSIONS view of the catalog. The free tier exists so hearing the music never has a gate in front of it — owning it is where money changes hands.

Patron — $20.00 / month

Streaming plus supporter benefits as announced. The price is flat and round on purpose: it is priced against physical media — one vinyl a month — not against other streaming services, because Patron streams pay artists at a published per-play rate derived from what an owned copy is worth. Billing is handled by Stripe on its own checkout pages; card numbers never touch WHITEHOLE, and the subscription is yours to manage or cancel from your account at any time.

Owning music

DOWNLOADS — $0.99 per track. Permanent; yours to keep, re-download free forever.
WALLET — $10.00 adds ten dollars of purchase credit, no card fee per track.

Purchases are permanent. A bought track stays in your library and stays re-downloadable — even if the artist later withdraws it from the catalog. That permanence is a term of the purchase, not a courtesy.
Two ways to pay. Card checkout carries a three-track minimum ($2.97), because a lone $0.99 card charge loses money to the card fee. The wallet exists so the listed price is the whole price: add $10.00 once, then buy single tracks at $0.99 with no minimum.
Unspent wallet credit is refundable on request — the wallet is a convenience, not a trap. The full refund policy is in the Terms of Service.
Your library is a record of ownership. Everything you have bought, in one place, marked OWNED wherever it appears on the platform.

What your money does

Of every $0.99 download, $0.7105 accrues to the recording's payees — the only deductions are the songwriter's statutory share and the platform's stated 15% fee. Patron subscriptions fund per-play accruals at published rates. There is no pay-to-play on the artist side and no advertising sold against your listening; the Vision page explains why the economics are built this way, and the Privacy page covers what is recorded about you (your play history is visible to you, and payment card details are Stripe's, never ours).
