WHITEHOLE — Account Types

WHITEHOLE has two account types, and they do not overlap. A listener account is for hearing and owning music; an artist account is for releasing it and being paid for it. Nobody holds both at once, no account quietly becomes the other kind, and each type sees only its own tools. That separation is enforced by the platform itself, not just described here.

Listener accounts

FREE TIER — $0. Streaming with a registered account.
PATRON — $20.00 / month. Streaming plus supporter benefits as announced.
DOWNLOADS — $0.99 per track. Permanent; yours to keep, re-download free forever.
WALLET — $10.00 adds ten dollars of purchase credit, no card fee per track.

Listeners get playlists, a play history, and a permanent library of everything they have bought. The Patron price is flat and round on purpose — it is priced against physical media, one vinyl a month, not against other streaming services. Card checkout carries a three-track minimum because a lone $0.99 card charge loses money to the card fee; the wallet exists so the listed price is the whole price. Artist accounts

No pay-to-play, ever. Uploading and releasing music costs nothing. The platform earns a 15% fee on downloads and the margin on subscriptions — it never charges an artist to be heard.
Your masters stay yours. The uploader agreement is non-exclusive, and your composition rights are not part of it at all — they stay with you, your publisher, and your societies.
Transparent pay. A $0.99 download accrues $0.7105 to the recording's payees. A paid-tier stream accrues at purchase parity: one hundred plays is treated as the listening equivalent of owning a copy. Monthly statements show every line.
Room to grow. Artist accounts hold up to 40 tracks; a larger tier for bigger catalogs, alongside an optional creator tools subscription (Creator Pro), is planned and will be announced when it is real.
The boring parts, honestly. Identity verification and a tax form are required before payouts; accounts that repeatedly infringe are terminated, as the copyright policy says.

Which one am I?

Registration creates a listener account. Artist accounts are provisioned by WHITEHOLE — during the invite-only period, that conversation starts at contact@saaadlabs.com.
